Intensive, exhaustive research pays off...interesting HD find

Hello, everyone knows me on here by now right? If you do...you know that I try to be as professional as possible when it comes to discussing HD issues. I'm not always successful, and this might be one of those times I fail miserably.

Ok, how can I say this? I happened to stumble upon some JVC HD10U videos, but they aren't post-able on here......if you know what I mean? lol

I must say the chroma noise is still there, low-light ain't so good. But, considering the content I can't say I looked at that first! Anyway, in the name of research I have studied these videos and I must say it works well in this particular industry!! ;)

Ha-ha-ha, in the interest of research! Now I've heard it all. I think I'm gonna use that one myself!

cheers!

p.s. I guess a waterproof housing will be in the works next huh?

Christopher C. Murphy January 28th, 2005 12:54 PM

Ha! Yeah, it's kinda funny...I did really, truthfully stumble upon it.

Chris Hurd January 28th, 2005 01:26 PM

Careful, now... too much of that stuff and you'll go blind.

Heath McKnight January 28th, 2005 01:46 PM

Hairy palms make it difficult to hold cameras...

Go blind???? Okay, I'll stop when I need glasses...

Wait. I do need glasses... but that's just old age,,, which, come to think of it... is pretty much when you stop anyway. I guess its a 'self regulating' sort of thing.

My question is, "How do you KNOW it was shot on this camera?"

Christopher C. Murphy January 28th, 2005 03:01 PM

Ahh...admit it, you guys want links!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Richard, I know a HD10U when I see one. I'd be willing to bet the camera person even used our site here to perfect his/her technique!!!!!

Giroud Francois January 28th, 2005 03:57 PM

that is strange because the firstime a noticed hugly color artefact on HD1 was when looking a skin tones, especially when on large part of the screen. It moves from pink to green or violet.
I expected that this kind of movie would render very poor with this cam.
c'mon , give us the link so we can check.....

Christopher C. Murphy January 28th, 2005 04:02 PM

You'l have to email me, of course. We don't want to taint sacred ground of DVinfo.

Christopher C. Murphy February 1st, 2005 12:34 PM

There sure are a lot of, umm, dedicated researchers on this forum! (you know who you are..lol)

I should have charged for the links because I'd be rich by now!
