Broken Button, anyone had this problem?

hello there people.

i have a problem.

owners of the HD10 knows that the button that turn ON/off the camera (A, M, PLAY, OFF, REC) its a bit hard, not too good, etc...

anyway, i was shooting last week and my assistant when was turning on the camera, just broke the button (cause he pushed a little harder)

the button broke, and it was pulled from the camera body. so, i dont know how to fix. if anyone here had this problem, please tell me how did you guys fixed (i think its easy to broke this button, that's why i suppose somebody here had it broken)

thanks!

ciao

Daniel I believe this will require a trip to the JVC factory service center.

hd10u broken button

I happened to have the same problem. JVC will charge me 200 usd for the button. I think the price is outrageous!

Anyone knows where to buy a cheap replacement button?

Regards,

Mauricio De la Orta
