Green Pixel on a GR-PD1

Hi folks,
this is my first message here!I have a GR-PD! acquired 15 days ago.
I saw on the LCD display and on the video downloaded a green pixel..
is it burned?
if it is, is there an auto-repair option or i must to call my jvc servise to obtain a new CMOS sensor?
thanx for answers!

Marco,

I had HD10 with stuck pixel repaired by JVC. Did not sound like they put in new sensor. Cost about $180 US. No parts replaced, but fixed OK.

Marco,

It looks like you need your CCD replaced.

Mine had the same problem. And for the 180 USD, they DO replace the CCD. If you go to the JVC parts site for repair partners (do a search on google) you'll see that the CCD is actually cheaper than (at least I) expected.

Depending on stock availability, in can take days or (in my case, 4) weeks.

Hugo

They should fix for free under warranty. Mine was just barely out of warranty and they fixed this same issue for me for free.
