New Images from a Japanese Site

Are Japanese sites that provide a glimps of the new HD cams displayed at some show. The pics give a indication that on a HD screen the images look potentially very good . However these are not screen grabs. Also the text is not in English. One set of shots shows how a recorded 16:9 shot would down convert to on a 4:3 monitor .

Thanks for the link, Gavin... we have several folks on board who can read Japanese, so perhaps we can get a translation at some point.

Gavin,

Copy the URLs you've posted and go to http://babelfish.altavista.com and then select "Translate Web Page" and "From Japanese to English" and...voila!

It's rough...but accurate enough to get an idea of what's being said.

* The high vision camera " GR-HD1 " of Victor is such a video camera!

Size about of the SONY VX2000, deep-black it is, with the body the worldwide beginning! The high vision video camera for national welfare appeared.

It kept advancing the reception of the high vision program with the BS digital broadcast which starts from end of 2000 steadily " high vision corresponding television " " BS digital tuner " " high vision corresponding hard disk video recorder " I bought and arranged, but if so you said, the video camera it continued to be the usual video camera of the NTSC.
"Deep black it is, with the body the worldwide beginning!"

How will anyone be able to resist the body with a worldwide beginning?
