JVC has been on top of their game ever since. TapeWorks is a dealer for all of the top brands in the market, and let me tell you that in my opinion, the new pricing stucture and AB promotion JVC is now providing makes this purchase a no-brainer! Whether you purchase it from TapeWorks, or another JVC authorized dealer, you are making a wise investment!

TapeWorks Texas Inc does currently have a couple GYHD200U packages in stock. If you are in the market for a new camcorder, TapeWorks can customize a quotation with Professional A/V products that will best fit your application. Wow, Scott, what great deals! Thanks for the heads up. I'd love to see some comparison frame grabs between the HD200 with 16x and 17x lenses mounted. Especially since now it seems a lot of us have $500 lenses mounted to our $6,000 cameras!

Could be time to pony-up for new glass cause that seems inside out.

Eric, I noticed that $500 difference in MAP between the HD200 w/16X vs NO lens as well. Kind of puts a perspective on it! The 16X has been doing the job for alot of individuals though, especially when it was the only option around. It might not be the best glass, but when your budget only calls for X amount, well, JVC offers a base package that can get you out there shooting. Now that more options are available, it provides the buyer options on pricing, as well as products that best fit an application. That is what makes their ProHD series so great. It's flexible in the market no matter what type of shooting you're doing. Want to shoot with a film lens? They have the PL lens mount adapater to accomodate the Indi Film shooters.
Anyway, you know all of this, so I'll stop acting like a Pro-Vid Sales geek. Well, for now anyway. You know who to call when you're ready to make the jump up on your glass.
Ride Safe!
