hd250u and Avid

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the HD scene and this is my first thread here. Just wanna thank DVinfo.net for providing such a great community for us users.

I just recently acquired a hd250u. I have always been editing my footage with Avid Xpress Pro. However it seems that this device is not supported by Avid. I have yet to purchase a deck but I just wanna know, what NLE do you guys use to edit your footage (PC users)? From what I've read, seems Edius is about the only NLE out there that's fully compatible with this cam.

Sorry if this question has been answered, I did not see it in the forum.

there is a long process which i have spent last week playing with......

Capture using CineForm Neo v3 (all footage was shot @ 720p24)
Capture as a m2t file
Transcode in Procoder to a DNxHD file
Then Fast import in to Avid Xpress Pro
I'm shooting in PAL, so the only project setting I have is 720p50 at the moment, or I can downconvert in ProCoder to SD then have a few more options.
It's a long work flo, but I'm going to invest in a Firestore, that will save me the capture time, I can then go straight to Procoder.
Over all, when my Firestore shows up, i would only have added about 1 hour to my process (compared to plug the camera in & capture, where I would have to come back to the computer after each tape, I can let ProCoder transcode over night or when I'm typing this :) )
Footage looks great, no bad frames or weird looking bits (strange description :) )
