Is there a way to fix the footage?

I think you will have better luck with asking questions if you are more specific.

Upload a frame of your footage, or a quick clip, so we can see the problem! Also, what are you using to edit?

AfterEffects has a "remove grain" filter that is rather good.
For the future, go to the menu and set all the gain parameters to 0 so that you don't flip the switch by mistake. You can reset the gain at the right lavel in just a minute, when you really need it.
