720p to 1080i Deck
Just a quick question. If i was to buy the jvc hd110 as opposed to the hd111 which offers dv-in, would i be able to instead use my sony 1080i vtr deck to paste the footage from my 720p timeline back onto tape if need be? Thanks

The 1080i decks don't do 720p, and vice-versa. :p
You could transcode your footage to 1080i to go to your sony deck - but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Lossy. |
