Equipment Suggestions
Anyone have any suggestions for an affordable waveform monitor?
Also anyone know where to find some good articles about color balancing? |
The cheapest portable waveform monitor I've seen was about $5000. If that's in your price range I'll try and look up the details.
Also, you'll find some articles on colour theory on this site: http://www.videouniversity.com/ Hope that helps, Liam. |
There a company called Compuvideo that has some small portible types that I think are in the 1500-2000 range.
also I seems to remeber a recent Panny ad for a 17 inch LCD fields monitor with built in waveform. that might be a more workable solution edit: found it Panasonic BT-LH1700W |
The ultra-portable waveform, vectorscope and HDV monitor would be HDVRAck software on your laptop, now bought by Adobe and called Adobe OnLocation could be an alternative.

Good call
Thanks for all the suggestions guys!
That software should do the trick... and it will be nice to save right to the computer... No capture time! |
