How can I get 720p 59.94 from my HD100?

I have shot a project and now ready to send to http://adspecs.ncm.com/www/html/specs.html

They do not except 720p 23.98

1080i/59.94
HD D-5
1080p/24
1080p/23.98 psf
1080i/59.94
HDV
1080i or 720P/59.94

How can I get the 59.94 from this 720p 23.98 footage???

umm, I am assuming you shot it in 24p? because I dont know if you are gonna be able to CHANGE the frame rate out of the camera. you might be able to take it into an NLE and export it out at that frame rate? but thats gonna look weird, because it was not shot 60p. these people dont take 30?

What format does the final video have to be in?

In your list is says that "HDV" is accepted? What is meant by this? 720p 24 can be in the HDV format?

I'm not clear on what you have actually shot and what the required delivery format is. Do you have a spec sheet that you can link to?

Steven. Your camera does not RECORD 60fps, only the 200 series does that. Your tapes are what they are and real motion frames can't be added after the fact. Yes, it is possible to get 60p HD from the component out of your camera WHEN SHOOTING LIVE, but it takes some serious hardware, and the analog component out is a limiting factor.

It's interesting 720/24 isn't included, and it appears that the formats at the bottom after HDV are the acceptable HDV formats. Your camera can't record either of these natively. I'm curious who the client is with these specs - broadcast?

Now, how best to solve your problem if it still exists. You mostly say it was shot at 24p (23.98), although at one stage you say 30p.

720 30p will transfer to 1080i reasonably well, giving about the same amount of detail but if there are rapid camera movements or lots of motion in the footage, it will be noticeable as a different acquisition framerate.

If you shot 720/24p, I'd look at uprezzing to 1080/24p. The Frame rate will be as expected, and if the footage is technically good, it should pass muster.

How you deliver this converted material is another story. Ideally, it would be put on a drive for them in a lossless or near lossless codec that they can use in their editing system. I WOULDN'T go out to 1080i hdv, since the 2nd recompression will take a big toll in the conversion. A D5 tapedeck will be a pricey option if you need to go that route.

I just saw the 2 files you posted. Very interesting. Is 9t raw footage or an edit you are supplying? In any case the 2nd doc has at the bottom clearly:
No JVC 720p (or DVCproHD) accepted.

In this case, you are best off submitting to their digital file standard.
Simply change to their 59.94fps (keeping 720p) exporting to quicktime uncompressed. The frame rate will get a pull down, and have a "filmlook" frame cadence. Check that the pull-down is properly constructed - you may have to give this special treatment.
