as for stands, I've used some smaller undercabinet type flourescent fixtures (not sure of the weight of yours) but I used velcro to attach (could use small screws) those spring clips used to hold broom handles in the closet. and then used some old semi working light stands. some broom handles/poles in buckets with concrete for weight could work too, but not look as "pro."

as for the clips, not my original idea, I learned it from Walter Graff's site
