JVC Chicago (Aurora) Turnaround Times:

Just wanted to let every know, I just stopped by JVC's Aurora, IL service center to get my 250u "spit and polished". According to the rep. there, things are "very slow" right now. The turnaround time is going to be about one week, much shorter than usual.

does that mean I should be sending my camera there for my tune up? I need a quick turnaround I have about 14 days off that is perfect for me to be cameraless.

I would call them to make sure, I dropped it off and it shipped back to me within a week. I missed the call to authorize the $125 to complete the tune up, that tacked on a day also.
