Problem with Viewfinder... colors keep changing everytime its plugged in...

I have never banged up or treated my HD110 bad, but out of the blue, the viewfinder is acting up, giving me a smeared image, and a yellow tint, then if i plug it and unplug it in and out a bunch of times, it starts to get better... then worse... then whatever it wants...

This is under warranty for sure, but how long do you think it would take jvc to send the camera back to me?? I have many shoots coming up, and I would really like my viewfinder to not be such a mess to look at.

anyone have similar problems and know how long they usually take?
