Using the HD100 as a feeder deck

Anyone using their GY-HD100 to capture? I am now and I use Edius. I keep getting corrupt clips, only a few but enough that it REALLY wastes editing time. I will capture a wedding and out of 200 clips i'll have 10 corrupt ones but I wont know there corrupt until I scrub though them or open their thumbnail then Edius will crash its very frustrating.

corrupt?

do the corrupt files have visual garbage in them?

Never heard of this happening before but I use final cut pro.

Randy,

Use the old mpeg capture module of canopus its called MPEGCapture v4., a capture from within edius is not reliable. OR if you have another means of getting the transport stream into your PC, use it, when I used the HD100 i used the cineform HDlink to capture the m2t. This didnt work anymore for my HD200 so I used MPEGCapture. -until i got a firestore.

Once ingested, EDIUS eats m2ts on its timeline like a breeze.
