GY-HD100 and noise

I am looking at some wedding footage I shot last weekend. Even in bright areas like outside with no gain it looks really grainy. I am looking at it on a 20 inch LCD from like 3 feet away (editing monitor) it seems o.k. when I back off to like 6 geet am I looking too close? is there a way to setup the camera to be cleaner?

Try setting the master black to -1 and see what happens.
