I know you're only kidding, Patrick, but I still feel compelled to point out that they have to "tease" the marketing just a bit prior to its announcement, so of course they've mosaiced all of that image except for the HDV logo.

I went to try and register for updates, but no USA to be found in the drop down menu.
weird? or am I just blind?

I noticed that too, Erik. I think the USA option is missing because they'll most likely have a separate marketing campaign for the U.S. That's my take on it, anyway.

Yeah, in fact, here's the U.S. registration link:

http://pro.jvc.com/prof/main.jsp -- just click on the "Pro HD" graphic in the lower left-hand corner of the site there. It'll take you to a pop-up window where you can hit a registration button. Hope this helps,

Chris, sorry, I was just goofing and should have goofed it up so it was immediately obvious or not posted.

It appears this camera will spark alot of interest.

I noticed prohd.net now includes the U.S. in the sign up. If you signed up at JVC, I'm assuming it's the same thing.
