JVC111e best codec for FCP capture

Hi all
Capturing a project which could end up with either a 25p or 24 p output for an oz and US territory. I'm using FCP 6.06 and I was wandering these days which is the best codec to capture in to FCP? I've used the hdv before with no problems(I'm capturing from Firestore DR HD 100) but have heard paople talking about capturing in Apple Internediate , Prod Res etc
I wander if anyone can shed some light on this for me please?
Here are my capture options in FCP.
HDV
HDV Apple Intermediate
HDV Apple prores 422
HDV Apple prores 422 HQ

Finally the device control preset. If I shot in 25P should this be Firweire HDV 25P ??

Can someone tell me my best options here please and pros and cons?

Thankyou so much in advance,

cheers Toddy

Capture from the camera to the DR HD100 as Quicktime. Transfer these files from DR HD100 by dragging and dropping to your Final Cut media drive.

You have 2 choices in FCP. Use HDV 720p 25 (or 24p) if you are doing a basic cut without effects or sending to Color. If you are doing effects, green screen etc or want to grade in Color use Apple ProRes 422 1280x720 25p (or 24p).

Device preset can be just HDV Firewire basic.

If you want or need to capture from tape try this;
