Tighten a Loose Handle?

I guess my camera is beginning to show its age... The handle of my 200 has developed a small rock to it. It's nothing detrimental now, but I am worried it may get worse. I tightened the few screws around it, but to no avail...

Anyone have any suggestions short of taking it in to the shop?

Hi Taylor,

In order to tighten the handle the body has to be opened. So, the short answer is that it should be taken into a JVC Professional repair facility or an authorized local servicing dealer. The process shouldn't take too long for someone that has worked on the camcorder previously.

I hope this helps. Best of luck in having the handle tightened.

My handle is getting a little loose also(slight rocking) and the cam comes in at almost 18 lbs fully loaded, is it likely to get worse, or perhaps fall off at some point :)
