Am I the ONLY one that didn't realize that the HD2xx series viewfinder is telescopic?

Recently saw a picture of JVC Guru Tim Dashwood with an HD2xx series camera and thought "wonder where he got the viewfinder extender?"

Then I looked closer at my TWO (count 'em - TWO!) HD200's and realized the eyepiece screws loose and telescopes.

Just wondering if I'm the ONLY one that missed this incredibly awesome function.

Oh, that's funny :-). And after reading your article I tried it on my JVC HM700 -- and lo and behold, it did the same thing! After all this time I'd somehow completely missed that...

Well would you like at that, same deal with my HD100 never even noticed that.

I guess you don't have the training DVD Shaun!

No worries... it's one of those great little hidden features.

Tim: I DO have the DVD but I missed that part... a little birdie threw the disc in for me... <grin>

BTW, I just shot a two camera live performance video in 24P using your Ultrawide setting and WOW! Worked PERFECTLY! Thanks for ALL your help...

I knew about it, but was keeping it a competitive secret. Now everybody will want to use it . . . or at least have their picture made with it.
