HD100 12 3/8 inches Deep (long)?

JVC specs show this unit as 12 3/8 inches long. No way this can be accurate. Maybe without the lens. Anyone have an idea how really long this thing is?

The JVC is a lot smaller than people think. 12 3/8 is without the lens. The lens adds another six inches.

If you download the brochure and print it out you can see a full-size actual-size picture of the camera. It's about three inches longer than a DVX100.

Now add accessories...

A mattebox, say 4x5.65, 3-stage with eyebrow and sideflaps and the Anton/Bauer adapter with a Hytron 100 battery. Add 12lbs. and 16 inches in length. Same length as a CineAlta...
