Diagonal Lines In Viewfinder & LCD ? Why?

I searched for an answer for this, but could not find it-
sorry if this question is redundant... just got my HD100...

What is the cause and solution for diagonal lines
in various places throughout the image on both
the viewfinder and the LCD screen?

It's not subtle- the lines are pretty much everywhere...

Can someone help with an answer or point me to the right
thread to diagnose this issue?

My deepest thanks...

Do they move? Is it electromagnetic interference? Have you tried moving to a different room or location?

If you notice it when using the power adapter, put a grey core filter on the power cord (see pg 31 of the manual) and put a black core filter on the Viewfinder cable.

Um, it's not the zebras, is it?

LOL.

That didn't even occur to me!

T.P., Try flipping the zebra switch to the middle position on the front of the camera body. Does it go away?

Thank You So Very Much

YES!

It was the zebras... assumed it was off as the default position-
I was wrong... as per advice, I turned it to the middle position and- voila!

Now... if I can only just catch the tail end of magic hour...

Truly- thanks so very much for the help, guys- you are terrific!
