Looking for HD100U windscreen?
 

I am looking for an HD100U windscreen.

The one on ebay is from China and it won't arrive in time. Would like to find one of the original ones if possible, or one just like it if the original ones aren't around any longer.

If you have an extra one you can part with, let me know.

You're spreading further with your search, Lisa. I didn't realise you had a specific deadline. If it was me - I;d just take a small piece of fur fabric, and elastic band it to the mic - and swap it when the one arrives from china. Realistically, finding one is going to be luck. I actually lost the mic on one of mine, and I ended up waiting till one appeared on ebay - but it took ages, despite an automated search set up! Good luck.

I know you must be on a budget, but in truth your better off spending your money if the project is worth it on hiring a proper shotgun microphone with a dead cat on it.
The stock item is only really suitable to use as a guide track alongside a professionally recorded audio recording.
