Motion characteristics of 30P vs. 24P

How does the motion of the 720 30P mode compare to the 24P mode? Does it provide a similar "filmlook" as does a Panasonic DVX100 in 30P mode? I know the HD100 outputs a 60P component stream in both the 30P or 24P mode. I'm curious as to whether there is a difference in motion between the two. If so, how much difference.

30P on the JVC will deliver an identical motion rendering as 30P on the DVX does.

30P is smoother; 24P is for filmlook because it emulates film's 24fps frame rate. 30P delivers smoother motion with less strobing, but a bit less of a filmlike look than 24p.
