New to JVC / An FX1 user / How do i reset HD100

I just bought the HD100 from a friend who switched to the HVX200...I want to know how to get the cam back to its original factory setting cause its way to hot in the white areas right now.

I've tried the gain, white balance, and setting it to Full Auto but the picture is just not balancing light evenly. I dont know what he did so i want to return to defaults if possible.

Is there a way to do that?

Thanx in advance

go to page 81 in the operator manual and look under RESETTING THE MENU SETTINGS TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS

Anthony,

If you want to control the white levels better, turn the knee down to 80%. This will yield the slowest roll off to white possible.
