My boss wants me to order this camera for him, but I don't know anything about it. Was wondering if there are any books or dvds for it, like the "dvx book" or hands or "hands on hdv" dvd. Thanks!

Steve Mullen has a book. There are no DVDs that I know of, but I'm working on some tutorials myself that I will probably freely ditribute as a video podcast. Unfortunately, paying work comes first, so I keep putting it on the backburner.

Tim,
Actually, If you put together a DVD tutorial on the HD100 and how to use it in different applications, I'm sure there would be a lot of buyers, including myself.

I'm always interested in personal approach of camera setup, composing a shot, lighting techniques, and post production (NLE).

Steve

I just purchased a GREAT book "Video Shooter" by Barry Braveman. A must if you want to know how to shoot professional looking video.

You can find a link to my book below.

If Apple releases a larger Video iPod later this year, it could be a great platform for teaching.
