No talk of the new features of the 250?
I'm surprised that more hasn't been said about the HD250. Specifically the HD-SDI with embedded audio, the ability to capture 60P, and of course the "jack pack" for studio configuration.
I just saw an ad for it on the back cover of Broadcast & Cable magazine. Does anyone have any info or any additional features? |
Only speculation and rumor here. Maybe you can scan the ad for us?
|
I could scan it. Can you host it?

I should be able to... Any problems with this Mods?
|
Tim- Go ahead and send it to me, kforman at video-alchemy.com. I'll put it up, and if there's a problem, they'll let me know... ;)

You have mail.

hmmm, not much in the picture, sort of looks like a Klingon Bird of Prey hehehe.
|
Thanks for putting that up Keith.

Looks like the whole assembly just plugs into the battery space. Too bad they couldn't make our camera's upgradeable that way.
|
Now that is sexy!
Well the image could be better but the camera itself sure is. I sure would liketo know how much more the HD250 is going to cost. We are all getting excited but this thing could be double the price of the HD100. |
I wonder how long it will take Apple to support the 60p HDV?
|
It would be the smartest thing they could do if the 250 is just a module for the 100 that adds functionality.
|
I don't know about that. It seems as though the HD100 had a few bugs in it, and hopefully, they have them worked out in the 250.
|
Sweet. 60P on JVC HDV. Hopefully the price difference between the HD250 and the HD100 won't be too much. We'll find out soon.
