Will My Old JVC Battery Work With the HD100?

This is the model: BN-V416U

It is the same size and it is DC 7.2 so it is in the safe specs, but I want to know if it is Safe?

That battery, if it works (and it most likely would), will only last about 20min.

That's fine as extra power is always good to have, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't fry the circuits or anything.
