HD100 on Glydecam 2000+ ?

I know that a Glidecam 4000 should be right for the HD100 but I have a 2000 and bothers me to pay all that money for a little extra longer metal pipe. Anybody has experience with the 2000 and the HD100? Is still working maybe with extra ballasts?

I'm pretty sure the 4000 is a bigger rig all together compared to the 2000. I have the 4000 with the Smooth Shooter and it works beautifully. It is rated, I think, for 10lbs and above, wear-as the 2000 is rated for up to around maximum 7lbs. I think that's how it works.
