Rough Cut of Scene from new Short with HD100/Mini35

Hi,

I JUST wrapped a 5 day shoot last week for a short I am working on. I ante dto share a rough cut of one small scene. There is sound mix yet, but there is sound =)

Any feedback is welcome. Its not 100% done yet, which is why any feedback would help.

To check it out go here: http://hd-motionpictures.com/Project...10%20movie.wmv

I only did it for WMV for now, but flip4mac can be used for mac users. Its 24 MB, thus not full quality AND broadband fast Internet is highly recommended.

Questions are welcome as usual.

Brian,

Very filmic/cinematic. The shots of the lady look too bright, IMHO. The guy's shots look very good, almost like a telecine from 35mm. Very good...!

The blown out look is what I wanted for her. He is in darkness, she is in the light. There's a reason when you watch it. Thanks =)

Which 35mm adapter and what lens or len did you use...

I did like the look of it... did the 35mm change the look (colors) or was this done by with presets or changes in post...

I use the Mini35 (P&S Technik) with my HD100. Settings were Dashwood's Bleach Bypass. Once you see the finish movie you'll know why some talent is in dark and others in light. I wanted the blown out look like Minority Report and I think we did a pretty good job for a frraction of what they spent.

I use Nikon lenses. All they do is create a filmic look with DOF etc.
