Release Date HD250
 

Diana Janos from JVC Sales informed me that the HD250 is now expected to be released in November, although some websites claim October.

What a drag, I was hoping to purchase this camera for a shoot in Iraq.

Hi Carl. I haven't seen the HD200 mentioned for a while. Do you have any news on that one?

If you go to the JVC/pro website you can e-mail Diana and ask her. That's how I found out about the 250.

You don't have to check the JVC website.....my email is djanos@jvc.com

So we are expecting release of GY-HD250U in late October, but I don't anticipate them being in dealer's locations until November depending on shipping time.

As for the GY-HD200U, we are hopeful that November/December time frame will be the release.

If anyone is in the NYC area stop by the New York Cine and Digital Equipment Show on Tuesday, October 10 and Wednesday, October 11. Location is the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. Tuesday times are 1:00 pm - 8:30 pm and Wednesday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. I'd love to meet you and show you the GY-HD250U HDV camera.
