Cant turn down mic on hd100
 
I hooked up my Sennheiser M66 shotgun to the HD100, and everything is completely peaked out when the +48 is turned on. when i switch it to line or mic, there is nothing. It wont let me control it manually either. I cant get teh volume to turn down. any suggestions?

If the camera is set to Full Automatic Shooting, the volume is set automatically. If you want to adjust the volume manually, turn FAS off.

Check the "Full Auto" switch on top of the camera. It must be off for you to be able to manually adjust audio levels.
