wow that IDX offer sounds AMAZING! i dont see that advertised anywhere with BH photo or any other dealers that are authorized... how to i clame this? i will be buying another hd110 within the next week or so, and this offer rocks considering i dont have to wait for the IDX package! Would love to know or see a list somewhere of dealers who are offering this deal.

I would call B&H and see. They are listed on the JVC website as an official JVC dealer, so they should know about this deal.

ANY JVC Professional Authorized Dealer can offer this promo. Simply ask.

What about us Canucks up here in the freeze? Do we get a promotion deal and are they planning to offer this deal on the 250's?

It looks like the whole JVC site is "down for maintenance" until tomorrow.

I think we are not living on the same planet than the USA for all the rebates given by the companies.(Panasonic, JVC, etc...), we never got them. By the way, we are not freezing too much this year. :)

It looks like the $1000 rebate offer has been extended through January.

B&H does list it... but it's not "featured". If you click on almost any of the HD110 kits, then click on the "item includes", the IDX kit is listed.

I'm also learning that IDX kit they're giving away is valued at $1200 and has a separate tap for powering an onboard light. Man, that's sweet.

I'm just glad I'm one of the lucky ones slated to buy one in the next 30 days.

I just have to say, I got a couple of the packages with the 110 / IDX battery set-up and could not be more pleased. The 110 runs for a long time (went through 10 hours of shooting on 2 batteries and still have power left). If you're looking to get into a nice camera package, this is the one. We will definately be ordering another package in the next month. I just wish that with a supposed retail price of $1200, it came with 2 batteries, not just one.

and in europe?? why not??

Good deal in UK

ProActive in Hemel Hempsted, near London, have a good deal at the moment. I picked my HD111 kit up from them last week:

http://www.proav.co.uk/index.php?cPath=265_346_348

I'm an ENG guy, so Package 4 seemed to hit all the right buttons for me:

HD111, with standard lens and Wangle, + Swit V-lock Batteries, Hawkswood mount, Sennheiser radio mics, Vinten 6 sticks, Swit top light, Sennheiser headphones, box of tapes and a semi-reinforced bag to put it all in.

All for around £4,700 (USD9,000). Which I'm sure is vastly more than you'd pay in the USA, but is a pretty good deal in UK/European terms.

Kevin Eaton is the guy I dealt with there. Extremely helpful.

My first post: It's nice to be part of the forum.
