GY-HD250 and DR-HD100

I recently found out the hard way the DR-HD100 does not function with the HD250 camera. Has anyone found a work around? For me when I turn on the HD250 the DDR crashes and restarts.

I understand FE will be addressing this sometime.

It's sad because I thought this combo would work, when I purchased it.

Thanks

Dave B

I have a HD-251 and have no problem with the DR-HD100. Did you update your firmware?

It does work perfectly with the DTE. Make sure you have the firewire plugged into the proper port on top of the DTE and set you menu as desired for syncronous or not. You'll know it's attached because your LCD will show the red indicator of connection. We fell victim to plugging the firewire connector into the wrong port at first.

I'm guessing that the DR HD100 works with the HD200 as with the HD250!?

Stephen does it record 60p from your HD250 without issues?

It's records with no issue and acts the same as it does on the HD-100 (no surprises). The data recorded is 59.94 in the same m2t file as with 30p.
