BR-HD50U(A) Firmware v1-08 Upgrade
JVC posted new firmware for the HD50. It's available from the "software download" link on the BR-HD50 product page.
From JVC's Website: "v1-08 Improvements: Compatibility with Non-HDCP compliant HDMI devices, automatically switching HDCP off when connected via HDMI to a Non-HDCP compliant device. Benefits Allows interoperability with Non-HDCP compliant HDMI devices such as: Convergent Design's M1 and also Black Magic's BMD Promise Card. Additionally you can now connect your BR-HD50U to Displays such as computer monitors." |
Blackmagic Intensity still doesn't recognize with v 108
I updated my firmware and the Blackmagic Intensity card still doesn't recognize the BR-HD50, Anyone have any luck?

What else does the firmware upgrade do?
Is HDCP updates all? Does it fix the PAL DV playback option that doesn't work on my deck? |
