Green glitches when stopping or starting dv playback at DVinfo.net

Just now today for the first time, I'm getting some rather odd green glitches on my crt when I stop or start to playback from the deck.

I have not yet upgraded the firmware.

anyone know what this is?

And the reason is:

HDMI

It only does this when HDMI is connected and I monitor composite and HDMI at the same time, one on a crt the other on a panasonic 9uk plasma.

Will the new firmware fix that? (the 9uk is HDCP so that part doesn't matter)
