Resale on an HD100U kit?

As we are getting closer to purchase on our HD250 and all the new gear, I'm trying to get an idea of what our HD100U should bring as the following camera kit:

1 - JVC HD100U Camera (43 Drum Hours, 99 Fan Hours)
3 - Factory JVC batteries (BN-V428U)
1 - IDX Battery kit w/ an Endura 7s battery & dual Charger
1 - Batteries for Broadcast V-mount battery, 14.8V/6Ah/90Wh
1 - JVC WCV-82SC Wide Angle Adapter, with carry pouch
1 - JVC KA-551U quick release tripod plate kit

This was our studio camera and as such is in perfect physical and working condition. We still have all the boxes and manuals for the camera. We would like to sell it as a kit, any ideas what we should consider fair value to both parties?

4.5-5k in my estimate

Isn't B&H selling refurbs with warrantines for $3700?

Sounds Like Jad was also pretty close to target then as well, considering the cost of the other related items. I forgot to mention the 20 New Panasonic Master Quality tapes (DVM63AMQ) that goes with it. It's the only tape we run through the JVC's, no mixed brands.

So $4500 would be a pretty good deal then at the lower end of things. Any takers before it goes to Ebay?

post it here in the classified sales forum (if you've been around over a month you should be able to see it)

Sean, thanks.
I didn't notice it the first time I looked, saw it this time.

Yeah I've been looking for one every day for the last month, and have looked at maybe three dozen pending and sold used listings. That's why I chimed in :)

I literally just bought one, otherwise I would have def considered yours.

FWIW, HD100's with the IDX battery kit seem to be going for $3700-$4000. $4500 would probably be about the top end as an HD110 with the IDX is around $5000 now.

IMHO $4,500 would be a bargain with the included wide-angle and tripod plate which value approx. $500 & $200 respectively.

Good deal for anyone who jumps on it.

Jad Meouchy March 7th, 2007 03:04 PM

With 20 MQ tapes and an additional 90wh battery as well as the listed accessories, 4500 is definitely a good price. HD100 w/ IDX for 3700? WHERE?

Daniel Patton March 7th, 2007 03:12 PM

Thanks Tim,

Maybe even more so now that I dropped it to the first $4300 takes all. ;)

Daniel Patton March 11th, 2007 11:45 PM

Doing it again... We need to get the package up and gone so I will let it go down to $4000 BAMB!

Or, if you can find the $4300 you can take it with an added Litpanel:

Heat-Free, LED Technology
Bright Projected Soft Light
No Color Shift when Dimming
Flicker-free Daylight
Draws just 7 Watts
Gels included
Runs from AC or batteries
Lightweight: 9.6 oz. (.36 kg)

SUCH A DEAL!
