JVC GY-HD110U 1/3-inch bayonet mount
 

I read that the JVC GY-HD110U has a bayonet mount. Does this means that
I can buy any bayonet lens and it will work with this camera.
I have never worked with film cameras so I don't know!

no, there are many different kinds of bayonet mounts out there.

what you´re looking for are 1/3 inch bayonet mount lenses.

There are lots of 1/3" bayonet mount lenses out there, but they may not necessarily be ideal for HD.
In the HD realm, Fujinon has the standard 16x5.5 lens that is bundled with the ProHD cameras, as well as many other varieties of higher quality zoom lenses. Canon also has a new lens design for the ProHD cameras.

There will be no magnification of reverse image with 1/3" zoom lenses because the cameras are designed for them.

You linked to the 1/3" to 1/2" bayonet adapter that allows 1/2" bayonet lenses to be mounted to the JVC cameras. There is also another adapter that will allow the use of 2/3" lenses on the JVC Cameras.
These adapters do nothing more that allow you to mount a different format lens on the camera. They do not alter the image in any way.
'Magnification' is only relative to what you may be used to on larger CCD sized cameras. Focal length is focal length. 10mm on a 2/3" lens mounted to a 1/3" camera will have the exact same field of view and DoF characteristics as 10mm on a 1/3" lens mounted on a 1/3" camera.

The difference is that 10mm on a 2/3" will have almost twice the FOV on a 2/3" camera as 10mm would on a 1/3" camera. People who use the word "magnification" to describe this try to compare based on focal length, which can be confusing. I prefer to use angle of view (AOV,) and the term "cropping factor."
