Please post this event as a sticky:

All,

I am please to announce that JVC Pro and MPS Studios of Dallas, TX will be hosting a free learning seminar on April 3rd. Topics covered will include digital video and HD basics, understanding modern camera technology, adapting film lenses for HD video cameras, depth of field control, storage and NLE technology, and more. The seminar will be led by well-know cinematographer and technology expert Gary Adcock, who is currently the NAB Technology chair.

Please see this link for more information, and to sign up.

There will be several other U.S. locations for this seminar announced shortly. The Dallas event will be the only one in the southern U.S.. I hope that if you have a serious interest in electronic film-making and Dallas is close enough for you, that you will join us.

Regards,

BTW, I'm just finishing prepping frame grabs and footage from my extensive HZ-CA13U tests for Gary to show at this event. So, if you are interested in the new Cine Lens adapter, this will be your first peek on the big screen. (I assume front projection will be used.)

Excellent! A D-iLA projector will show off how sharp the adapter really is. I just threw some of the material on a projector today and it looks great.

Will you also have a SR-DVD100 available to play m2t files?
