Hello,

I leave the stock battery on my DR-HD100 and power it with the tap on my IDX. I've been doing this for over a year (since July 2006) and have never had problems.

I also use the Tap on the IDX battery. Does does even charge the internal battery of the DR-HD100 this way. So don't leave it connected if you don't shoot a few days.

I bought a Switt 190W version on Ebay. And yes it charges, no problem. They are compatible.

Hello
You can get the cable at B&H $49.95
Just go to the B&H website when you reach the site type in IDX D-TAP POWER CABLE

hopes this helps
