Shooting around dead pixels
 

Question for the experienced users of the HD100-110:

I owned one of the first run of the HD100's and after close to a year and more and more dead pixels popping up, and many service center visits it had to be replaced. After more time shooting with this newer model, it seems that over time, dead pixels are popping up again, although not bad like it was before. After performing pixel compensation, it doesn't get rid of everything. Shooting in 0 db and 48 shutter for 24p and 60 shutter for 30p, the image is clean. But at night especially , if any gain is brought in, or the shutter tweaked at all, a pixel here, a pixel there is apparent. If I'm shooting reality or documentary style during the day it isn't a concern, but trying to get more stop, the problems arise.

Do you guys have similar problems with these cameras, and do you just know that you have to have the settings a certain way on the camera, and/or just find enough light so you don't have to compensate with gain or shutter. This problem has got to be consistent with all the other cameras, your thoughts?
