Nice shots Fabrice, thanks for posting. Have you tried the Panamatch setting? I really like the look of that setting. I'd really like to see some shots with the panamatch setting with the HD200 series, i think i've only seen it on the HD100 series.... It would be interesting to see if there are any differences.

There's a version of the Panamatch from Stephen L. Noe, for the 200 series here :
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...ight=panamatch I've plan to try it. Perharps next week-end in montains... But i came back to France (the other shots were from Spain) and here, it's still not summer... and the snow was on montains few days ago. Really ! I've tried True Color 3 for the hd 200, but the color seems to me too metalized : http://www.fabrice-hoffmann.com/video/pano.mov |
I've also noted on any "real-word" samples that the True Color 3 settings don't look very natural at all. Just goes to show that test charts under ideal conditions don't always correlate to real world shooting conditions.

Zip 92mb contains -HD mpeg 60-30mb 720p25 -3 tga -screen from fusion with gamma curve and unsharp mask http://rapidshare.com/files/43845201/TEST_HD.zip.html |
Great, thanks!

I like the more contrasted look, but less the yellowish color.
Also the image seems more grainy in the dark area. Did you color correct on the original mpeg flow or did you change for a better codec ? |
Fabrice, thanks for real m2t file
In eyeon fusion 64 bit internal calculation therefore simply correct mpeg and uncompress output for export to any codec. Sorry for my bad english |
Here is 3 pictures with different color presets : Tim CDM, True Color 3 and Panamatch. But view this image in Photoshop because colors seem to be washed out in my browser.
http://www.fabrice-hoffmann.com/vide..._panamatch.jpg Tim CDM seems to be closer to what reality look. Panamatch and True Color 3 look approximatively the same (TC3 has little more black in the water). And some new shots from montains : http://www.fabrice-hoffmann.com/video/poissons.mov http://www.fabrice-hoffmann.com/video/pano_lac.mov http://www.fabrice-hoffmann.com/video/lac_foret.mov |
