HM700 and 710 settings

In a previous thread I had brought up a concern of grainy footage with my JVC HM700u. In my effort to correct and improve my situation I have been exploring settings.
I have done searches here and on google as well for settings and have come up with marginal results...
Do any of you out there have any recommended settings for various situations?:

Low light settings.
Out door clear sky
Out door cloudy
indoor dim settings....

You get the picture.

I would like to have a thread that shows current user settings from this community - so we can all share info.
I think it would be fun to share picture file settings and scene file settings.

Here are my picture settings for indoor controlled light
Detail -7

Please share your settings and info

Re: HM700 and 710 settings

They're out there. Do a search. There was talk of a dedicated thread, but no one has ever stepped up to compile it.

All the best!

Re: HM700 and 710 settings

did you try changing your gamma to 'standard'?

i've had some grain problems as well.
i'm not shure, but i concluded that my grainy images were a result of my cinematic gamma.
cinematic gamma created a dark image -> i compensated with gain and open iris (over exposure) -> dark parts became more prominent and grainy (since hm700 is said to be grain-happy ;-)
