JVC GY HM100 Linux Compatibility ?

Will I be able to grab the files from a JVC GY-HM100 if I am using Linux?

I have an SD reader on my laptop, but I'd also like to be able to transfer video from the camera to the laptop via USB. Is this possible with this camera?

Has anyone had any problems with the GYHM100 and Linux?

Thanks,
Nastassja Noell

I was able to play back and convert the .MOV files created with the GY-HM100/700 in Linux (Ubuntu 8.10) using WinFF. WinFF - Free Video Converter
