MiniDV remote Recorder

Ok, So, I have an odd request (Maybe not)... anyone know what a device is called that you can hook in a standard connection like RCA, S-Video, and the like, and record it to a MiniDV tape? it has a monitor on it to view your footage...

I am looking to buy something with this purpose for multi cam shoots when I am running my micro cam under 4 wheelers. If I hook it to my XH-A1, I can't use that camera anymore, it just becomes a recording interface.

Anyone have a link or a price on said object?

Thank you!

Sony | GV-HD700 HDV Video Walkman VCR | GVHD700 | B&H Photo Video

There's also the GV-D1000 and GV-D900, but as far as I can tell, they are no longer sold. (eBay time!)
