Tape packing
 

Packing new tapes, do many people do it. Is it worth the effort?
Heard of it, but don't know anyone who does it.

That answered my question alright, thanks Bill. I will be getting a tape rewinder post haste!

Just do it in the camera, cameras are direct drive (no belts etc. to wear out) and you'll never wear it out.
