Here is the latest memo from Sony Professional announcing the resumption of production on VG, DVCAM, Digital Master and Pro Disc.

"We sincerely appreciate your continuous support of Sony Professional Media since the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our factory colleagues we are pleased to inform you that full production of Sony DVCAM, VG, Digital Master and Sony Professional Disc has resumed, as of the end of May 2011.

The kind word and support we received have meant a great deal to everyone. It would not have been possible to restart proudction in a relatively short period of time withoug your strong support.

We look forward to continuing to meet your needs and those of your customers.
