Corporate video with the GoPro Hero
 

Here is a new HD corporate video we made.
main camera used was the Sony EX-3.
This was made for a metal processing company, and we used the GoPro for special shots
we couldn't achieve inside the machines, and on board the robots.

Nice work! The shots of the inner workings of the processes work very well! The GoPro can really be a serious tool in the right situation. I shot a corporate shoot for a spa last week and used the gopro on a chest harness for shots of a massage, pedicure and manicure from the therapist's perspective. They worked out extremely well; the client was thrilled with the quality of video it produced and the extremely unique perspective.
I've been tinkering with a KAP (kite aerial photography) system using the gopro for a few months now; I have the suspension issues sorted out, and working on the remote pan/tilt now. It shows a lot of promise for close in ( 100 ft - 200 ft) aerial work for real estate, festivals, etc. small, tough, light...utimately much safer than powered remote flight over populated areas. I think there is an application there waiting for a solution, and the Gopro is it

Yep, the GoPro gave us the option to get in the machines, with the cooling fluids not being a problem.
Its funny, because we are working on an air-born rig as well. I am trying to put the GoPro on one of these cheap remote-controlled choppers with electric motors you can buy these days for 100$.
Might be the ultimate tool for a few projects I have - wild horses in the open, and some desert shots for a car commercial.
I am concerned though that the image stabilization won't be good enough to handle the vibrations up there...
maybe the kite is the solution...

hey, a very nice corporate piece.

i hope your client was pleased, they should have been.

i'm aware of what a piece like that would be budgeted in new york city.

how about in israel?

You know what - that's something I would really like to know:
How much would a client pay for a corporate video like this in the US?
Here in Israel the Budget - including CG (Max and After Effects) work - was around 16,000 US$

That's a very nice corporate video! What I was just wondering; the overview shots inside the hall, did you use a crane for those? Or is it just cropping and sliding footage in the edit?

Once again, very well done, you must have spent weeks on it.

Yes, we used a 6 meter crane with motion control head for these shots,
and also for the outdoor shots.

As I stated above - the main camera was a Sony EX-3
but the GoPro sure did gave us many options for cool shots.
