One Drone on the workbench, one working fine
 

I have two AR Drones now. I'm in the process of replacing the cross on one thanks to blocking the sensor. About a 40 foot fall.
I hadn't flown the other one until today so I mounted the Replay and started flying. It does fine with the Replay except I got a little jello.

I'll fix that later today. It just needs the mount tightened some I think.

The sensor is important, even today I got the camera a little close and got an ultrasensor warning. East fix.

It balances better with the weight up front than it does on the back.

I had very little room without trees to work in today. I will go to one of my fields this weekend and give it a proper workout.

Thankfully, they're easy to repair.

sounds interesting, the drone looks pretty good and seems to bear the weight of the GoPro - I'd be interested in hearing how you set things up and how stable the flight or hover is

I'm not using my GoPro's on this Paul.

Several reasons.

1. The GoPro is heavier than the Replay, even without the case.

2. GoPro's have a very delicate coating on the Naked Camera. They were not intended to be used without the case and the lens scratches easily.

3. The shape of the Replay lends itself to easier mounting on the Drone.


I'm still fine tuning the mount which is simple as can be. After I get all the Jello out of it, I'll post details.
