hero 4 black stills
 

I would like to get stills out of my hero 4 black as well as video. Making 2 passes, one for video and a second for stills is problematic.

Video + Photo disables protune.

It appears that grabbing a still frame from a protune video is as good as the stills from Video + Photo but not great.

Anyone getting good quality still photos from their hero 4 black? how?

It's as simple as this, GoPro needs light, heaps of it so the shutter is high so the photos don't blur. Also realise that pressing the shutter button to take a photo has a delay before the electronic shutter activates and an image is captured, so hold that camera still for 1sec after the button is pressed.

Using the video + photo negates pressing the shutter button.
Using video with protune negates pressing the shutter button.

High shutter speeds will certainly reduce blur, I am looking for best resolution options.
