Looking to run 2 POV's with 1 remote and reliability

This is for filming different angles of bow hunting. Right now I have a GoPro 3 silver and 3+ Black, operated with one remote. It works ok, but has a few bugs I'd like to avoid.

The main problem is sometimes one or the other doesn't get the signal to record and sometimes the 3+ just freezes up. I then have to take the battery out, and restart it.

I'm looking for input from those of you who have experience with different brands/models of action cams. I'm not a huge fan of GoPro for my own reasons, but they seem to be pretty innovative with remotes and such. I'm also looking into the Garmin Virbs, Sonys & ContourHD's but I don't know if they'll do what I want.

What I want...

- Cameras to be in standby, battery saving mode, for hours at a time
- Remote, one button push to start recording
- Very quick startup & record after button is pushed
- Narrow field of view option for one camera (otherwise, what I'm recording at 30 yds is too small)
- Decent low light recording

I'm sure there's more but these are the basic musts.

So, anyone have any recommendations?
